Common Oscars Performance 2018

For the 2018 Oscar’s, we partnered with Common and Andra Day to develop concepts for their Oscar broadcast performance of “Stand Up for Something” from the movie “Marshall”. The goal was to create a performance that embodied the message of the song. The concept combined simple staging using spotlights to highlight the performers, and a select group of 10 activists working on the ground to enact change.
