Tech Tuesday – Spotify
What apps have you been using lately? That’s what we asked our team for the debut of our new tech series, Tech Tuesday.
Form and function should always go hand in hand, and there’s no better example of this than the apps we use every day. Pretty much all of us here at the Inc. use at least one or two cool apps on a daily basis, so here are our personal favorites for your downloading pleasure.
This week, we’re showcasing Spotify – your very own personalized radio on the go.
Oh, Spotify – what would I do without you? You’re everything I could have wanted and more. The perfect blend of comfort and variety, all free on mobile and desktop.
There’s so many different functions for this app, and it just keeps getting better. Where do I even begin?
Maybe with the fact that it not only streams artist/song-based stations to your phone, but also automatically saves all the songs you like to a “Liked From Radio” playlist for later listening. It’s like a gift from your past self to your future self.
You can make your own playlists on your desktop using Spotify’s gigantic music library, and since it’s all streamed on request, you can listen to them on your mobile, too.
Spotify’s all about discovering new music – their Browse section is like that friend who is always introducing you to new favorite artists. You know, your best friend.
And when you want to share what you’re listening to with your friends online, you can sync your Spotify account with the rest of your social media presences among the interwebs.
