is god is is a genre-bending southern gothic revenge thriller that follows twin sisters, racine and anaia, on a cross-country mission to confront the father who destroyed their family. blending western, dark comedy, road movie, and mythic storytelling influences, the film delivers a visually bold and emotionally grounded story centered on sisterhood, survival, and vengeance.
we focused on translating the film’s highly stylized tone and genre-blending identity into social-first creative that felt visually daring, culturally relevant, and instantly shareable. through a mix of video and static executions, we leaned into the sisters’ dynamic as the emotional and tonal core of the campaign, balancing moments of intimacy, humor, and cathartic revenge.
the creative embraced the film’s “weirdness” and unconventional aesthetic to help position it as both an arthouse conversation piece and an accessible pop-culture event. we developed content designed to travel organically across orion pictures, talent, and partner channels while encouraging earned media and fan engagement. the campaign also aimed to celebrate the film’s broader cultural statement around black women occupying bold, unconventional genre spaces. every asset was designed to reinforce the film’s mythic tone, striking visual language, and unmistakable creative voice.
